District News
Class of 2016 prepare for graduation; start tradition
With what we can see becoming a longstanding tradition in Whitehall City Schools each year, WYHS Principal, Paul Smathers, brought all of his graduating seniors to walk through the elementary and middle schools in the district and slap high fives with the kids on Monday, May 16th. 
Students recognized in the House Chamber at the Statehouse
State Representative, Heather Bishoff hosted two of our stellar WYHS students, Ana Abduljelil and Madison Stiffler, in the House of Representatives chamber on the House floor. They were recognized before the entire Ohio House of Representatives. 
Prom Promise 2016
A number of WYHS students recently signed the 2016 Prom Promise which is put in place to make students aware of the dangers of drinking and driving. This is a joint effort between Student Council and National Honors Society. 
Intradistrict open enrollment window open now
The Whitehall City School District announces the date of Friday, April 15 through Wednesday, June 1, 2016, as the 2016-2017 Intradistrict Open Enrollment application period. 
WCS to engage community in Future Focus series
At Whitehall City Schools, there is a dramatic enrollment increase on the horizon with a deficient amount of space to provide those future students. While it’s encouraging that more children are entering our school district it’s increasingly challenging to provide the personalized learning environment we want to give our students. 
Notice of Directory Information
The Whitehall City School District designates the following items as directory information: student name, address, date of birth, participation in officially recognized activities and sports, weight and height of members of athletic teams, and achievement awards and honors.
